M2B OBEDIENCE CHAMPIONS

This term the character value we are learning about is obedience. Every week this term, Miss B will be choosing one child who is showing obedience in our classroom. Arissa was our lucky first winner and she was presented with a certificate and a trophy. Congratulations Arissa!

HUGE CHEQUE FOR DOG RESCUE

This week at Assembly we presented a giant cheque to Dog Rescue Dunedin. It was giant in more ways than one! We raised $870.50 to help the dogs! Well done Model 2B. It has been a wonderful compassion project.

WELCOME TO MASACHIKA

A special welcome to Masachika who is joining Model 2B for the next few days. Masachika has travelled all the way from Japan to have a special adventure in New Zealand.

DRESS-UP DAY

Friday was a super fun day in Model 2B as we got to wear book character costumes to school. Check out our awesome outfits...

CONGRATULATIONS IMOGEN!

Imogen has won a colouring competition at Couplands Bakery. She won lots of yummy goodies. There was lolly cake, biscuits, gingerbread men and lollipops. Well done Imogen!

DRESS-UP DAY

Don't forget this Friday (20th July) is dress-up day. Come along to school dressed up as your favourite book character. We will be showing off our cool costumes in a parade at 2.15 on Friday afternoon.

BOOK WEEK

This week is 'Book Week'. We started the day by reading to Mr Galloway. He is reading with every child in the school this week and giving everyone a bookmark. Miss Barnett is reading us heaps of stories throughout the week. Each afternoon we are doing exciting activities with Mrs Robertson. Today we learned about setting. We are also very excited about dress-up day on Friday and the school disco on Friday night.

Hi Miss B and Model 2B,

Hi MODEL 2B

Hi Model 2B,
How are your holidays going? What has everyone been doing? I went to Ashburton for a few days and had fun shopping and seeing my little niece Pippa who is one. We also saw some of our old friends from when we used to live there. This week I have been to the Playhouse Theatre to watch Pinocchio with Jack while Will was at a Spy birthday party! I got a lovely surprise seeing Maia outside after the show finished. I am hoping to take Will to the movies to see Brave as I have heard it is really good. I wonder if any of M2B have been to the movies to see it, or maybe Ice Age 4? Well enjoy the last few days of holidays. I am looking forward to having lunch with Miss B tomorrow.
