MRS O'S NEW PUPPY

Hi M2B,
I was just looking at the blog and seeing how cute Jessica's new puppy is and I thought I'd share a picture of my new puppy Monty. He is a chocolate labrador (like my other dog Poppy) and is 3 months old. He is lots of fun and he enjoyed his first trip to the beach today. He gets on really well with Poppy and they like to snuggle up together on their bed.

I hope everyone is working hard in M2B and keeping up the great writing! I miss your smiley faces!

WELCOME TO MR FORD

Welcome to Mr Tim Ford who is a second year Dunedin College of Education student. Mr Ford will be joining our class for the next three weeks. He is a keen sportman and is looking forward to sharing his skills and enthusiasm with Model 2B.

CHARACTER COUNTS IN M2B!

This week is 'Character Counts Week'. The theme of the week is that 'your choices are your responsibility' (To Kowhiritanga - To kawenga). In Model 2B we have been talking about why having a strong character is important. Have a read of our great ideas: Character is important because... * it helps you learn * if you didn't have character, you would be naughty * it helps you be good at school * it is who you are * it let's our school shine * it make you nice and helpful * it can make you happy * it makes you proud * it helps people learn to do the right thing * once you know it you can always use it * it helps you not annoy anyone

SOCCER SKILLS

Every Wednesday afternoon this term we are going to learn soccer skills with the guys from Football South.  We had lots of fun learning how to dribble the ball this week.

TERM 4 FUN

We started Term 4 with a fun celebration.  Phoebe had her birthday in the holidays and kindly brought a cake along on the first day of term for us to share.  Thanks Phoebe!
